To create buzz for Centric TV’s annual Soul Train Awards show, Haley Miranda Group launched a high-profile, multi-city activation where fans created their own Soul Train moment to share with the world. We put our branded “OMG” slow-motion video booths in the hottest clubs in the country and asked club-goers to show us their best Soul Train moves. Videos were instantly shared on participants’ social media sites, amplifying word-of-mouth impressions. We also gave participants branded photos of their performances.
Photos and videos were hosted on the Soul Train Awards website and shared through #SoulTrainEffect. To increase the momentum, hmg-plus pushed the word out with an influencer outreach campaign featuring videos from each event.
